Classes start September 7th 2010
The aim of Brushstroke Studios is to teach students of all ages art through the exploration of many mediums. Art History is incorporated in lessons and techniques are explored.
The students are taught techniques and the use of specific mediums. They are encouraged to create their own individual works of art
by using their imagination and also by interpretation of the other arts. Students will explore such subjects as drawing, painting, sculpture, fibre art, printmaking, colour theories, perspective, shading and explore artists such as Barbara Reid, Eric Carle, van Gogh, the Impressionists, the Group of Seven, Ted Harrison, Picasso, and the Expressionists and others.
